Angela has been in
the accounting industry since 1984 and in public accounting since 1989.
She holds the following degrees: Master of Business Administration from
the University of Tulsa, Bachelor of Science in Accounting from
Northeastern State University-Tahlequah, and Associates
of Applied Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (formerly Westark Community
College). She is licensed and certified to
practice in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia. She was previously employed in retail, trucking, and publishing industries before moving to public accounting. Angela is a native of
Fort Smith, Arkansas, graduated from Southside High School, and worked
in Fort Smith and Van Buren, Arkansas before moving to Tulsa in 1988.
Angela is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the
Tax Section of the AICPA,
the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tulsa Chapter of OSCPA. She is a past president of the American
Society of Women Accountants and has previously been involved with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
She specializes in
consulting, tax compliance and planning, accounting systems development,
financial reporting, and accounting services for individuals, closely
held businesses, and their owners. She is experienced with computers
and a variety of different software packages and assists her clients on
several occasions with selection of an appropriate computer-based
information system.
